William Daniel Wong - Partner

Daniel has investment and corporate finance experience across New York City, London, Beijing, Lima, and Los Angeles.

Prior to graduating from Loyola Marymount University with a BA in finance, he spent his summer in Beijing working with Euler Capital, a growth equity investor focused on technology and media investments.

Daniel then joined Joh. Berenberg, Gossler & Co. KG, or “Berenberg Bank,” a private German investment bank founded in 1590. As an investment banking analyst, Daniel split his time between New York City and London working on large transactions with both the M&A and Equity Capital Markets teams.

In 2022, Daniel was appointed to China Institute Next-Gen x Serica (CINGS), the official membership platform of China Institute for future leaders in business, prominent family offices, and philanthropists, where he served on the Executive Committee. Outside of his TCP obligations, he advises family offices, VC-backed startups, and other investment firms.

Daniel is earning his MBA from the Northwestern University Kellogg School of Management, where he is a member of the Advanced Private Equity Experience (APEX), an accelerated curriculum and structured mentorship program with senior industry leaders tailored to high-caliber students in private equity. During his program, he spent time working with Torrblas, a sixth-generation Spanish family investment platform, and SaxeCap, an AI and automation-focused PE investment firm recently launched by the Founder of Oak Hill Capital and several successful Stanford AI entrepreneurs.

In his free time, Daniel enjoys surfing, golfing, and traveling.
