Dene Rogers - Partner
Dene has a broad business career - as a CEO of large public companies and PE-backed companies, a co-founder of tech start-ups, and as an advisor and consultant. His career has spanned North America, Japan, China, and the U.K..
Before business school, Dene was an engineer and worked in Japan, China, and the Middle East. After business school, Dene worked for Booz Allen & Hamilton and then joined GE Capital and became SVP of Business Development at GE Capital with global responsibilities. After GE, he was SVP, Strategic Planning and New Products at Starwood Hotels, and after Starwood, Dene took on C-level roles and was CEO of Sears Canada, Target Australia, and RadioShack and delivered success to shareholders.
Over the past nine years, Dene has been a co-founder of several growing technology companies including a SaaS platform, a nano-tech manufacturer, a medical device company, and a fintech. During this period, he has been a Senior Advisor to Bain & Company and consulted privately to various incubator and tech companies.
Dene holds an MBA from Yale University, a Master of Science, by research, from the University of Oxford, and a BS (engineering) from Curtin University in Australia.
