Following graduate school, Jeff spent eight years in international banking (Middle East) with Continental Illinois Bank and later in corporate banking in Los Angeles covering industrial, financial services, and media companies.

Jeff then spent 10 years running GE Capital’s western US LBO financing group and founded GE Capital’s national restructuring practice before founding and leading GE Equity’s global eCommerce and Media Group. Subsequently, Jeff founded and was Managing Director of the TH Lee Putnam Internet Fund and then became president & CEO of AutoWeb (originally known as Autobytel) in 2008.

Jeff currently leads and advises for various global private equity and venture capital funds investing in technology and industrials.

Jeff holds an MBA from the Thunderbird School of International Management and BBA in finance from the University of Georgia. Jeff and Don have known each other and worked together since they were colleges at GE in the mid-2000s and through a joint investment in an industrial technology company.
